Cheerleading

Amys Martial Arts is offering Cherleading classes to the community again this Summer. Cheerleading is a great way for your child to exercise in a unique way. In this class, they will learn the basics of cheerleading including jumps, tumbling, cheers, chants, stunting, and dance! In addition, they will learn about teamwork, an essential part of being in a cheer team, leadership, goal-setting, and more!
Wednesdays 10:30am-11:15am.

Tiny Tumblers (3-7 yrs old)

Tumbling is a great way for your child to exercise in a unique way. In this class, they will learn the basics including headstands, sommesaults, cartwheels, handstands along with practicing coordination, focus, motor skills, balance, and more. These classes are split up into 2 age groups: 3-4 year olds and 5-7 year olds.

Tumbling

Our spring floor provides an excellent environment to learn tumbling. The classes are split up into 3 Groups, based on skill level. Each student can be evaluated upon request to be admitted into the next level.

The following are what each class focuses on:
Beginning: Headstands, Handstands, Forward & Backward Rolls, Cartwheels, Round Offs, Backbends, Flexibility, Balance.
Intermediate: Front & Back Walkovers, Front & Back Handsprings, Front Tucks, Aerials
Advanced: Back Tucks, Layouts, Etc.

Cheerleading

Cheerleading is a great class for your daughter to express herself while doing exercise, making friends, and learning new skills. This class includes jumps, dancing, tumbling, and stunting in the program. Girls will practice for a performance at the end of their session.

Zumba

The Zumba© program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Zumba© Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got a Zumba© class!

Zumba for Kids
